centre
London, UK – 20th December 2008 -- Skyquest
Aviation, a leading design and manufacturer of specialist
equipment for airborne surveillance aircraft has announced
the opening of a new research, development and innovation
centre to specifically focus on new product development,
latest technology integration and systems design in
response to growing demands from customers wanting
increased functionality and systems integration from
the role equipment carried on board their aircraft.
Skyquest have placed the new centre within close
proximity of their existing production facility
in Laindon, Essex and the move effectively enables
the existing production facility to increase in size
whilst the development team moves into the new building.
Skyquest supply stand alone mission displays, digital
video recorders and video distribution systems to both
aircraft manufacturers and integrators throughout the
world. More recently the company introduced a comprehensive
video management system now widely employed by leading
airborne law enforcement agencies and this new ‘systems’ approach
has led to increased demand for both product and systems.
